Flensburg in Schleswig

The train station is actually a gem. Expressionic interesting independent brick architecture and originally high construction quality. The Reichsbahn surely paid for the construction back then. Today Flensburg is the northern terminus of the Deutsche Bahn. Accordingly, there is not much going on here. The usual Regio SHs and a few DSB / Bahn trains that go to Denmark. All quite unspectacular. Noticeably a lot of Danes and almost always students on the trains. Remarkable, the open drinking scene in Flensburg is elsewhere. We only know why the central bus station is not at the train station, the city fathers and mothers. The bakery is okay and fortunately there aren't the usual train station fast food stores. Maybe the train station will be able to enjoy a renovation one day, then four stars would be easy.

Very shabby and aging toilets almost always dirty

Is in the north. Is it cold in winter. In summer too. Just warmer.

Lovely small town near Denmark, extreme socialist country. I hate socialists. They manipulate people for power. They dont love people and freedom.

Flensburg has a lot of backyards where you can B. B. small bistros, cafes, restaurants, wine houses and much much more can explore and find. You should really take the time to explore Flensburg's city center with all its charm and to love it. Not only top handball has its home here; no, also many small restaurateurs and more, where it is worth taking a look.

Quieter than Hamburg, has nice corners and people are relaxed. My daughter and granddaughter also live there.

Nice city with beautiful Old Town. Nice train station, is more than a km away.

Small railway station on the way from Denmark to Hamburg. Transit station where changing trains (one which came from Aarhus to another one which goes to Hamburg from here) were organized very well - both trains were on the same platform on the opposite tracks so just a few steps between leaving one train and boarding another one.

In winter, the carliese park is pretty nice! The station itself is getting old and could again be restored, toilets partly dirty, the only good thing is the kiosk has a lot of magazines and it can endure well

A border town with many transients from diverse parts of the world.

The train we were going to ride before the train we traveled with came to Flensburg. That's why we had to wait two hours for a train where there wasn't even enough seating .....

One still recognizes the beautiful station once was. Today, a bit older. But at least to the tracks there are elevators. Also eating and drinking was possible directly at the station. Good is also you can usually find a suitable bus or taxi

The railway station is a short distance from the central district. Finding around and buying tickets is easy enough. However, the railway station is quite dark, sad and without life. You don't have to come 20 minutes before your departure and think that you can spend time looking around. There is only a small kiosk with a limited selection.

Imposing station in a dismal style. I've never seen WCs in such a pitiful state. I did not expect a similar horror from DB. I think it would be better to close them.

This is a boring train station a bit away from all the fun .. One hopes not to beach there .. A kiosk. Conditions for train changes are ok but the railway station itself is boring .. When you get stranded there due to delays, there is not much to do. The city is required away until you just slip on a barbecue, etc.

Border station, here to continue in Denmark you change to the train of the Danish railways. Sometimes, however, due to regional inconveniences, the connection to Denmark is lost and for the next train you have to wait two hours. Overall station clean apart from the toilets which are dirty and smelly. Station lacking from the point of view of refreshment (just one bar). Good connections also with the buses that go to the center and one also arrives in Krusa in Denmark.

Old place but nice as well. The trains are clean and always on time. Outside of the train station there is a bus station, where buses go to Flensburg ZOB (Flensburg central bus station) . From Flensburg ZOB there are buses that go almost everywhere around Flensburg.

I never thought I would write a review about a "train station" or its employees. But 3 stars for that nice lady at DB in Flensburg. She could not find a good enough apology for the tardiness of their train, there must have been too many trains on a Tuesday, I experienced a much greater tardiness when I was on my way from Paris to Hamburg. This train arrived 2 hours late at Hamburg, but it was the weekend anyway. The train was 15 mins late and made me miss my connection to Denmark. "The Danes won't wait", said the nice lady, which is typical of the Danes. Danes have inherited the German punctuality, and the Germans got too big to control their schedule, but let us face it, the Danes are NOT many and have been the same population like, forever. She handed me a couple of coupons to a small coffee and a sandwich, I chose Ham n Cheese. Then she put me in a FAST Taxi that drove me to a train stop inside Denmark and caught a connection from there. Thank you.

Functional train station, especially the toilets, leave much to be desired. But the Carlisle Park in front of the train station is very nice, especially in summer.

The rudest most arrogant staff I have ever met in a buffet cafe. Their lack of customer service is outstanding. Will never spend any money in there again. They don't deserve the custom.
